Origin of “almost” anywhere:

Years ago I was setting up an annual spring family get-together and, as always, called ahead vetting courses to confirm there would be no aeration conflict.  All four courses chosen claimed “perfect” greens, which was the case.  It never occurred to me to inquire as to whether fairways had been killed due to chemical mis-application.  Lesson learned and almost anywhere was born.
